These activities can be taken in addition to our Intensive course, One-to-one Course or Summer Course.

Golf: most of our students play golf at Woodstock Hotel, just outside Ennis, where the professional is happy to give lessons and make any arrangement necessary for playing golf - the average cost for 45 minute lesson, or for a game of golf is €25. It is also possible to play golf in Lahinch, which is one of the oldest (1892) and finest golf courses in Ireland.

Horseriding: at one of the equestrian centres near the Clare Language Centre. These riding schools including Banner Equestrian and Castlefergus Farm and offer a wide range of options from lessons for beginners to a variety of trails for the more adventurous rider. We can organise riding according to the student's specific experience.

Tennis or Badminton: we can organise individual lessons at the popular Ennis Tennis and Badminton Club.

Cycling: is one of the best ways to absorb the beauty of this area. We can arrange bicycle hire for students in advance of their arrival. We can help to student to plan their cycling according to the student's ability and desire.

Walking: is another glorious way to discover this ancient part of Europe. We organise guided walks with a local expert and historian.

Irish music and dancing: have always been a part of life in County Clare. We can organise afternoon individual lessons or evening group lessons in the art of Irish dancing and to add to this we often bring students to Set Dancing evenings at the Sanctuary night club, Queens Hotel in Ennis on Wednesday nights, or on Thursday or Sunday night in the village of Kilfenora.

Surfing: is available at Lahinch - boards and wet suits can be rented from the Surf Shop and classes can be arranged
